Some things are easy to buy in one city and hard to find in another: a local sweet, a regional product, a gift from a specific shop. A traveller who is already making the trip can bring it to you. Here is how that works on CashMiles, from the first request to the handover.
Step 1: Describe what you need
Create a request in the CashMiles app. Add the product name, a photo if you have one, its approximate value, where it should be bought or picked up, and where it should be delivered.
The clearer the request, the faster a traveller can decide whether it fits their journey. Mention size, quantity, brand and any special handling.
Step 2: Set a fair reward and a deadline
You choose the reward the traveller earns for carrying the item, and the date you need it by. A realistic deadline and a fair reward make your request more attractive to travellers going your way.
Step 3: Choose a traveller you trust
When travellers respond, look at their profile, verification status and ratings before you decide.
- Check that their route and travel date match your deadline.
- Read their ratings and reviews from earlier deliveries.
- Chat in the app to confirm details before you agree.
Step 4: Lock the payment
Once a traveller accepts, you lock the payment in the app. The money is protected and is not released to the traveller yet.
Step 5: Receive the item and confirm the handover
The traveller buys the product, carries it, and meets you to hand it over. You confirm the handover with a delivery code, and only then is the payment released to the traveller.
Afterwards, rate the traveller so other shoppers can see how it went.
Tips for a smooth delivery
- Only request items that are legal to carry. Restricted or illegal items are not allowed.
- Keep the conversation inside the app so there is a record of what was agreed.
- Give the traveller enough time and a clear meeting point.
